1. Name of Posts: Forester-I
Number of Posts: 84 Posts
Education Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent.
Pay Scale: PB-2, Rs.14000-49000/- + GP Rs.6200/-
Age limit: 18-25 years as on 31.01.2024.
2. Name of Posts: Forest Guard
Number of Posts: 84 Posts
Education Qualification: Minimum HS (10+2) or equivalent.
Pay Scale: PB-2, Rs.14000-49000/- + GP Rs.5600/-
Age limit: 18-25 years as on 31.01.2024.

Residentship: Candidates only from BTC area need to apply.
Application Fess: All the eligible candidates applying for the post as mentioned above need to deposit a Treasury Challan to be paid at the Kokrajhar Treasury Office or IPO for an amount of Rs. 150/- only for General, OBC, and MOBC candidates and Rs. 100/- only for SC and ST candidates. In the case of the Treasury Challan, the Challan must be paid in favor of the Principal Secretary, BTC, Kokrajhar, payable at the Kokrajhar Treasury Office only under the Head of Account - 8443 Civil Deposit, Personal Deposit, BTC. The challan paid at the Kokrajhar Treasury Office will only be accepted. And in the case of an IPO, it must be paid in favor of the Member Secretary, CSB, Kokrajhar, payable at the Kokrajhar Head Post Office.

•The complete application form duly filled out by the candidates with all testimonials should be submitted to the following address.

•The last date of application submission is fixed for April 3, 2024, up to 5:00 PM.
•The candidate must submit the completed application along with testimonials, a contact number or email address, and one envelope (size 23 cm x 10 cm) affixing a postal stamp of Rs. 5 in the envelope, superscribed with the name of the post applied for on the top of the envelope.
BTC Forest Department Recruitment Examination Pattern
1. Written Examination: The exam will cover General Knowledge, General Mathematics, and English of Higher Secondary standard for Forester-I and HSLC standard for Forest Guard. However, The syllabus for Forester and Forest Guard is not officially mentioned yet.
Exam Duration: 3 Hours
2. Physical Fitness Test: Candidates must cover 26 km for male candidates and 16 km for female candidates within 4 hours. A medical examination will also be conducted for both.
3. Viva-Voce/Interview: Candidates who pass the running test will appear for a viva voce/ interview.
